Bill
Baker, Jr
Born and raised
in Webster Groves, MO (West St Louis County). Graduated in 1983
from Country Day High School. Bill attended Clemson University
and received a BSME in Mechanical Engineering in 1987. After
school he went to work for BBC Brown Boveri (today ABB and
Alstom Power) as the Southeast Regional OEM Sales Manager in
Columbia, SC. He moved to Chicago as the Midwest Regional OEM
Manager in 1989. In 1992 he moved to
St Louis
with his wife, Molly, and started with
Rhodes Equipment.
Today he
handles, among others in Missouri and Illinois, all of the
AmerenUE facilities, Southern Illinois Power Coop, Electric
Energy Inc, Sikeston Power and all of Rhodes’ business in the
Western Kentucky area.
He is a Past
Chairman of the
St Louis Section of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
In his free
time he referees college, high school and youth hockey, coaches
his kid’s teams in hockey, soccer and softball and collects
miniature liquor bottles.
He currently
resides in
Chesterfield,
MO
with his wife, two daughters and one son. |
